We came back late last night buzzing with adrenalin from Helen and Tony’s amazing evening wedding in Camberley and their black tie dinner reception at the sophisticated Aviator hotel in Farnborough.
Both the church wedding and the reception were lit by candlelight, creating a beautifully intimate atmosphere. For us the lighting made it one of our most technically challenging weddings this year. At times even seeing the subjects properly to focus on was pretty tricky! Armed though with our 'low-light’ lenses and our portable studio lighting system we managed to get some great shots. (and we do love a challenge!)
Helen had chosen 1930s style elegance as a theme with creams, luxurious metallised fabrics and opulent detailing… all very elegant and ‘grown up’ and in perfect harmony with the decor and design of the fabulous James Bond-esque venue.
After meeting Helen and Tony before the wedding for their engagement session I knew they would be happy and very relaxed on their wedding day - but they were more than that – they were an absolute scream! Up for posing for several fun shots - including kisses in the mirror lined lift, reclining in the bridal suite and a group shot on the stairs – we were all in stitches at times. Kevin and I had an absolute ball!
WOW! You guys have done a BRILLIANT job, these sneak previews are fantastic, such a tricky job with the lighting but looks like u nailed it! Can't wait to see the rest! Jem xx
