Libby and Phil’s Wedding – Gordon’s School

The loveliest, 'smiliest', positive pair you could ever hope to meet got married earlier this month  - and we had the honour of taking their wedding pictures! Libby and Phil made their vows at Libby's family's (and our) local church, the Coign and then had their reception in the grounds of Libby's brother's school - Gordon's School.

Taking pictures of people obviously so in love is always a pleasure but another thing I loved about this wedding was the theme - not one prominent colour this time but all the hues of a summer garden.  Liberty style prints of the bridesmaid's dresses, vintage floral china, relaxed country floral arrangements tied with raffia, wicker baskets, terracotta, trellises and pot plants - were here, there and everywhere.  These all contributed in giving the reception an 'English Afternoon Tea meets Picnic-in-the-Park' feel which added to the very relaxed and fun atmosphere.
